0.3.0

This release allows users to specify their own custom spacing to discretize wing cross section movements. Previously, the only options were sinusoidal and linear spacing. Now, you can space out the movement with any arbitrary function! See the WingCrossSectionMovement class __init__ method documentation for more details.

0.2.3

This release fixes two major bugs:

1. Previously, Ptera Software incorrectly generated movements for wings with over two wing cross sections. I have fixed this issue. Note that the documentation now defines the sweeping, pitching, and heaving amplitudes of each wing cross section with respect to the vehicle's body axes. Previously, the documentation expressed them with respect to the previous (inner) wing cross section.

2. Previously, Ptera Software incorrectly rotated the wing cross sections to account for pitching and twist. I have also fixed this issue.

I am increasing the development status of this release from "2 - Pre-Alpha" to "3 - Alpha." Accordingly, beginning with this release, I will no longer designate updates as GitHub pre-releases.

0.2.2

This release updated the ReadMe to implement the suggestions from Issue 2. The name of the main package was also updated from "main" to "pterasoftware" to avoid compatibility issues.

0.2.1

This release patched issue 3 and compressed the README's animation to a more reasonable size.

0.2.0

This is the latest release of Ptera Software! This version fixed bugs with importing the package, added an example folder for new users and polished the readme.

0.1.3

This patch was sync the repositories version number with the version on PyPI.
