1.0

Merlin 1.0 has been fully tested and works against lcmap-test Aardvark instances.

1.0rc3

Release candidate 3 includes more robust testing for time series returned from create() and a simplified key tuple structure for results, plus numerous documentation corrections.

1.0rc2

Merlin now works with assymetric data.

A new function, chexists, has been introduced into the functions.py. This function may be combined with the symmetric_dates function in timeseries.py to properly describe and respond to the expected characteristics of data received from chip and chip spec sources.

1.0rc1

Merlin version 1.0 RC1 contains all the planned features for version 1 including retrieving chips, chip specs and building timeseries.

This is a release candidate and not a full release at this time because we are seeking feedback not only on the software and its function but also on the software project, its documentation and aesthetics as well.

1.0-rc1 works against aardvark instances that are returning symmetrical data arrays only. Aardvark instances not returning symmetrical arrays (as is the case with the current LCMAP Test system) can still be used, but an external date_fn must be supplied to merlin.create() which accounts for the known asymmetries.

0.6beta

Version 0.6 adds the isnumeric function, which determines if a string represents any type of number.

0.5.5beta

This release moves the merlin test data under merlin/support/data and the test aardvark code to merlin/support/aardvark.py. Dependent code can now take advantage of both for testing and development.
