This release merges Jb-rod 's work to add proper encryption and certificates

This version includes some bugfixes that make it more stable - specifically covering edge-cases where parts of the database are not-yet populated

Now that the codebase has been re-organized so that it can be packaged properly, here is a first release of that package!
