- In Hokkaido, ニセコひらふ was assigned many new postal codes - みらい平, near Tsukuba, had another new postal code added - 上鳥羽 postal codes added in July were all revised to add 町 to the end of place names - In Akita, 陣場岱 was corrected to 陳場岱
