0.24.4

**THIS IS A MAJOR RELEASE:** if your old light curves do not show an obvious transit signal, **please re-reduce them with this version of EXOTIC and re-upload them to the AAVSO**

Features

- Alignment code is used only to identify host and comp star locations, images are no longer shifted and stacked as alignment was not necessarily preserving flux
- Sped up photometric extraction for loop
- Added bokeh plot function for interactive FITS plots for eventual GUI rollout
- Added in pathlib instead of OS file manipulations
- Fixed structure issues
- Updated sample light curve in the documentation

Bugfixes

- Directory pointing fixed
- General code cleanup
- Don't double-convert "BJD" when it is what it is
- Make sure to use the flux-weighted centroid to help EXOTIC find the stars
- Fixed FOV plot x and y limits and aperture and sky annuli

0.23.2

Features

- Updated FOV plot scaling
- Updated instructions
- Added auto-publish script for PyPi
- Added licensing text at the top of all EXOTIC source files
- Added UoL boilerplate funding statement to bottom of github

Bugfixes

- very minor fixes so citizens doesn't crash
- Updated a bounding issue when the flux is negative
- Fixed bug for comparison of RA and DEC
- Add semantic_version to requirements.txt
- Fixed syntax errors

0.22.0

Features

- Markdown files for authors of EXOTIC and citation added
- Structural changes to NEA scraper with added constants.py file
- Logging improvements to include file rotation, more information on runtime execution and fewer required statements.
- Fixed threading bug in terminal animation that failed to properly purge write buffer. Optimized implementation.
In support of modularity as an application dependency: Altered global names and imports to prevent collisions with importing applications; Removed file writes based on global handle; Moved constants into shared scope in their own files; Updates to requirements.txt to support broader dependency coordinates
- General code quality improvements per PEP standards
- Tweaked the cosmic ray/hot pixel rejection to be less sensitive
- Tweaked background subtraction precision
- Started some GUI examples (very preliminary)

Bug Fixes

- Corrupted FITS file check fixed

0.21.0

Features
- Added log file
- Revised the prompts to all have examples and be more clear

Bugfixes
- Fix to the mid-transit time estimate (the bug was creating nans)
- secondary_obscode bugfix

0.20.0

Features:

- Automation of inits.json file. Older inits.json will not compatible going forward with EXOTIC as it was entirely correctly formated for .json. With the new inits.json file, future updates regarding the file should allow older ones to be compatible as it will not throw an error if something is missing. Some options are still missing for complete autonomy but will get there with future updates.
- Added new Astrodon-CBB filter
- Code clean up

Bugs:

- Plate solution will automatically exit after ~7 minutes if astrometery.net can't get one for you. EXOTIC will keep reducing data without it.
- Exposure time header error when redoing plate solution

0.19.0

Features

- Improved Plate Solution API
- Added LCO band for filter
- Nan Masks
- Limb Darkening --> Object Oriented Programming
- NASA Exoplanet Archive Language Update
- Updated annulus calculation

Bugfixes
- Changing privacy of modules
- Minor error in stopping attempt from 3 --> 45
